Dave Killed it!

We met with many DJ services before we found KoolTempo, but there is no doubt we went with the right one.

Dave completely understood our vision and style before our first consultation was over, and the care that is put into KoolTempo’s relatively small operation really shone through.

After we had our final in-person consultation, we were in almost constant communication in the weeks leading up to our wedding, and by the time the day arrived, we didn’t even have to think about it. I spoke with Dave several times on the day of, but it was mostly just him giving words of encouragement. He and our wonderful MC’s handled any details that may have been missed.

The music was great. We supplied a must play list and the selection was well curated to our taste, a mix of early evening fun for the older crowd, and some bangers to close it down, keeping the dance floor lively. And every song that needed to be queued up was spot on.

I haven’t even mentioned the cost of the service. They were so affordable, especially for what you got, which was an experienced DJ (as well as an assistant, I didn’t catch his name, but he was great, too!) who will go out of his way to make your big day even more special.

DJ Dave was amazing! Right from the first meeting Dave was more than professional. We kept saying is this guy too good to be true? Well Chrissi and I couldn’t have been any happier with our choice for our wedding. Dave answered all of our questions right away, met us early on a Saturday morning to do a site visit for our venue, was so flexible the day of the wedding, moving equipment around and changing things on the fly when we had a bit of rain, and worked closely with our MC’s to offer a great AV experience! Family and friends keep telling me how they couldn’t believe how long everyone stayed on the dance floor and had such a good time dancing. Thanks to Dave and his assistant Jeremy for an awesome evening, I would highly recommend Kooltempo to anyone!

In our first meeting with Dave, not only did he help us with music genre choices, he helped us with the scheduling of our reception. Can I say that in the duration of the evening, the dance floor was never empty! Our guests couldn’t say enough about how great the music was. Dave also went above and beyond, by offering to send his assistant to pick up Hersey Kisses for our kissing game (which we forgot!). I definitely recommend Kooltempo to any event. Kooltempo team was amazing from start to finish. I can confidently say that Kooltempo (DJ Dave) was the most professional vendor we dealt with for our wedding. Starting from the booking till the last minute of our wedding day, he was always available whenever we contacted him. The responses were always very prompt and professional. During the pre-event meeting Dave suggested some great ideas that help us immensely with our last minute planning. On the day of our wedding Dave and his assistant were extremely accommodating. Kooltempo equipment (especially the lighting) were top notch and sound was perfect. He played our requests and added in some great 80-90’s R&B that everyone loved.. the dancefloor was packed from start to finish and everyone was begging for more at the end! Thanks Kooltempo Team!
